Bienvenido a Ricks Radio Show, donde se puede encontrar algunos de los mejores blues, el jazz y el rock’n roll clásico en España o en el mundo. Cada semana os traigo música nueva y emocionante de los años de 1920 hasta el nuevo milenio.
Welcome to Rick’s Radio Show where you can find some of the finest blues, jazz and classic rock and roll in Spain or the world. Each week I bring you new and exciting music from the 1920’s right through to the new millennium.
So, let me ask you; What radio show are you listening to?
That’s right! Are you groovy guys and gals ready for the Rick’s Radio Show?
Today’s Show number 90 and your will find tracks that take you from the classic blues right into the rocking 60’s. I am taking you on a rhythmic trip through the history of the blues. I am starting with a couple early blues recordings before we move into some 50’s and 60’s blues and rock. This show is another great trip through the history of the blues. Yes, I guarantee lots of great live tracks, rock’n’ blues and, of course, the Ricks Radio Show will rock your socks off, I promise you. I have tracks from Gary Davis, Maria Muldaur, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and this week I am ending the show with the late great Johnny Winter.
Yep we have another veritable history of the blues! All these tunes have been re-mastered by me for the Rick’s Radio show and it is all here for your enjoyment.
So let’s get started and remember;
More music, less words because the music is more important than me.
Gary Davis – Blues In E
Honeyboy Edwards – Catfish Blues
Jimmie Witherspoon – Roll‘em Pete
Maria Muldaur – It Ain’t The Meat (it’s the motion)
