Playlist for show number 77

I have a lot of great old acoustic blues, great rockabilly, lots of classic 60’s rock tracks and a special never before played track from Anna Page lined up for you today. Starting with a couple of very old classic blues tracks I go right into a nice set of foot tapping rock-a-billy right into some amazing blues rock from the sixties going right into blues from this year. This show will have you rocking your socks off, something Rick’s Radio seems to do every time. I have tracks from Lightnin Hopkins, Henrik Freischlader, Guitar Shorty, a couple great rockabilly tunes with Cliffie Stone, Joe Maphis & Larry Collins, Hank Thompson and of course this week I have the Beatles to close out the show. Lot’s of great blues and rock music await you in this great hour of music. You will once again have your feet tapping and may even get up from your comfy chair and kick it a bit.

Yep we have another veritable history of the blues! All these tunes have been re-mastered by me for the Rick’s Radio show and it is all here for your enjoyment.

So let’s get started and remember,

More music, less words because the music is more important than me.

Lightnin Hopkins – Black Cat Blues
Bo Weavil Jackson – Pistol Blues
Otis Span – Beat-Up Team
Big Joe Williams – Baby Please Don’t Go
Cliffie Stone – Jump Rope Boogie
Joe Maphis & Larry Collins – Hurricane
The Collins Kids – Party
Hank Thompson – Deep Elm
Chuck Berry – Let It Rock
Johnny Winter – Good Time Woman
Henrik Freischlader _ Gimme All You Got
Guitar Shorty – A Little Less Conversation
Anna Page – Weird
The Beatles – Penny Lane

That’s all the time I have right now and it is now time to close the show and pop this cork scene. I want to thank everyone for making this show possible and to the great artists who played the music.  Let me know what you like and what you want to hear more of. I have a pretty large collection of music and you will be hearing more of it as we go along.

Tune in next week when I bring you more great and special music. I am going to go back to more of our jazz roots, blues and root rock’n roll. Yep, that means some great songs from great artists and all of them will rock your socks off.

So remember to tune in, turn on and drop by for more great songs from histories greatest artists! Thanks again for tuning in and see you next week!

Bye all!
