Welcome to Rick’s Radio Show where you can find some of the finest blues, jazz and classic rock and roll in Spain or the world. Each week I bring you new and exciting music from the 1940’s right through to the new millennium.

So, let me ask you; what radio show are you listening to?
That’s right! Are you groovy guys and gals ready for the Rick’s Radio Show?

Today’s Show is number 103. My friends in Chicago are going to release a new CD with the incredible guitar licks from Richard Black and the late Paul Samson right here on this show throughout the month of June. Samson is famous for being the first at creating heavy metal music and bringing it to the world, so listen up. Samson went to Chicago to learn the blues and how to apply the blues to his newly created heavy metal music. Samson met Richard Black, one of the top blues screamers from the South Side of Chicago. From there these two talents recorded for a year. Many of the tapes were lost but Black had some in his cache. Today these songs have been remastered by Richard Black and will be released to the public only on Rick’s Radio. I will be playing these tunes for the first time ever on Rick’s Radio!

So, the show starts with some great jazz from Charlie Parker and another from Thelonious Monk. We move right into some older blues, newer, rock and then more releases from the great Richard Black Project with Paul Samson and continues with some funkadelic special for Rosa Marie. Whole lot a music coming on.
