Playlist for show #82

Oh boy I have a lot of great blues on this show. I put together a special blues show featuring some of the best blues artists of all time. I do start with some classic old blues harp with Carey Bell, but then it is of to the races! You will find lots of great live tracks in this set and this show will have you rocking your socks off, I promise you. I have tracks from Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, Guitar Shorty, Mike Bloomfield and this week I am ending the show with the Beatles; get ready Pilar!

Yep we have another veritable history of the blues! All these tunes have been re-mastered by me for the Rick’s Radio show and it is all here for your enjoyment.

So let’s get started and remember,

More music, less words because the music is more important than me.

Carey Bell – After You
Eric Clapton – Malted Milk
Mike Bloomfield – Can’t Loose What You Ain’t Never Had (Live)
Super Session (Kooper Bloomfield) – It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes a Train To Cry
Jeff Beck – Sophie
Joe Satriani – The Bells of La Part 2
George Thorogood and the Destroyers – Want Ad Blues
Buddy Guy – Mustang Sally
Blue By Nature – So Many Roads, So Many Trains
Guitar Shorty – Too Late
Jimi Hendrix – Red House
The Beatles – Old Brown Shoe

That’s all the time I have right now and it is now time to close the show and pop this cork scene. I want to thank everyone for making this show possible and to the great artists who played the music. Remember that everything about this show including this script is up on RicksRadio.com in both English and Spanish, so get on the site. Register and comment about the shows. Let me know what you like and what you want to hear more of. I have a pretty large collection of music and you will be hearing more of it as we go along.

Tune in next week when I bring you more great and special music. I am going to go back to more of our jazz roots, blues and root rock’n roll. Yep, that means some great songs from great artists and all of them will rock your socks off.

So remember to tune in, turn on and drop by for more great songs from histories greatest artists! Thanks again for tuning in and see you next week!

Bye all!
