Playlist for show number 76

I have a lot of great blues, women in rock and roll, and lots of classic 60’s rock tracks lined up for you today. Starting with a couple of very old classic blues tracks I am going to go into a nice set of foot tapping chicks from rock and roll, and then to some amazing rock from the sixties. I have several great tracks that are actually live sets. This show will have you rocking your socks off, something Rick’s Radio seems to do every time. I have tracks from John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, Guitar Shorty, a 3 song female artist segment guaranteed to grab your soul, Mike Bloomfield and this week I have no time to have the Beatles to close out the show. Lot’s of great blues and rock music await you in this great hour of music. You will once again have your feet tapping from this show.

Yep we have another veritable history of the blues! All these tunes have been re-mastered by me for the Rick’s Radio show and it is all here for your enjoyment.

So let’s get started and remember,

More music, less words because the music is more important than me.

John Lee Hooker – Prison Bound
David Honeyboy Edwards – When You Get Lonesome
Elmore James – Baby What’s Wrong
Big Mama Thornton – Big Mama’s Blues
Maria Muldaur – Well, Well, Well
Janis Joplin – Cry Baby
Guitar Shorty – Can’t Get Enough
Mike Bloomfield – Gypsy Good Time
Edgar Broughton Band – Madhatter
Paul Butterfield – Screamin
Mike Bloomfiled – Mary Ann (Live)

That’s all the time I have right now and it is now time to close the show and pop this cork scene. I want to thank everyone for making this show possible and to the great artists who played the music. Let me know what you like and what you want to hear more of. I have a pretty large collection of music and you will be hearing more of it as we go along.

Tune in next week when I bring you more great and special music. I am going to go back to more of our jazz roots, blues and root rock’n roll. Yep, that means some great songs from great artists and all of them will rock your socks off.

So remember to tune in, turn on and drop by for more great songs from histories greatest artists! Thanks again for tuning in and see you next week!

Bye all!
