Official play list Ricks Radio Show #121
Bienvenido a Ricks Radio Show, donde se puede encontrar algunos de los mejores blues, el jazz y el rock’n roll clásico en España o en el mundo. Cada semana os traigo música nueva y emocionante de los años de 1940 hasta el nuevo milenio.

Welcome to Rick’s Radio Show where you can find some of the finest blues, jazz and classic rock and roll in Spain or the world. Each week I bring you new and exciting music from the 1940’s right through to the new millennium.

So, let me ask you; what radio show are you listening to?
That’s right! Are you groovy guys and gals ready for the Rick’s Radio Show?

Today’s show is number 121

Happy New Year to all! I hope you all the best in this coming year!

Well, had a big computer break down over the holidays and that is why you have not heard the Ricks Radio Show during this time. With my hard drive going bad I lost almost all my digitized collections. So much music! So I spent the holidays rebuilding the system and getting some music on it so I can create shows. I figured I would dig out music from the other side of the collections first as this would give you a new selection to hear. I will get to the other stuff later.

Okay, so this show is going to start out with a rare 1950’s Jazz cut from Miles Davis live! Then it’s is all blues and rock. Starting out with some great old blues from John Lee Hooker playing with Booker T Jones and Randy California! Live! I have some great live blues sessions following this too. I have Coco Montoya, Mississippi Bigfoot, and more blues greats. There is a rarely heard amazing long set of from a live set of Led Zeppelin’s. The show will get your feet tapping. Lot’s of great blues and the rock it inspired!

Yeah! This is a great show and you will feel the flow as the best of blues and the inspired rock’n roll that came from it.

Another big shout out to Riba Roja! Yes, Radio Riba Roja at 105.2FM as they join the radio networks featuring Ricks Radio show. I say Hello Cousins!

It’s a great show so lets get it on!
There is nothing more to say except “There’s a whole lot a music coming on.”
So let’s get started and remember;
More music, less words because the music is more important than me

Miles Davis – So What
John Lee Hooker, Booker T Jones, Randy California – Red House
Walter Trout – Hell To Pay (special bonus)
Peter Green Splinter Group – Crawlin’ King Snake
Van Galen Band – Back To The Blues
Coco Montoya – Never Seen You Cry This Way Before
Mississippi Bigfoot – Burn That Woman Down
Jeff Beck – Will The Circle Be Unbroken
Led Zeppelin – Black Dog (live!)

Más música, menos palabras porque la música es más importante que yo. Puede obtener información sobre este programa a mi sitio Ricks Radio punto com

That’s right, keep listening to Ricks Radio and bring the history of music to your ears.

Well, that’s all the time I have right now and it is now time to close the show and pop this cork scene. I want to thank everyone for making this show possible and to the great artists who played the music. Remember that everything about this show including this script is up on RicksRadio.com in both English and Spanish, so get on the site. Register and comment about the shows. Let me know what you like and what you want to hear more of. I have a pretty large collection of music and you will be hearing more of it as we go along.
Another shout out to Radio Riba Roja! You can find Ricks Radio there at 105.2FM. Great choice in picking Ricks Radio to bring you the best in blues and the rock it inspired! Welcome!

And a big shout out to Pilar as she recovers from her operation! Pilar! We all miss you!

¡Y un grito grande hacia fuera a Pilar como ella se repone de su operación! ¡Pilar! ¡Le echamos de menos!

Tune in next week when I bring you more great and special music. I am going to go back to more of our jazz roots, blues and root rock’n roll. Yep, that means some great songs from great artists and all of them will rock your socks off.
So remember to tune in, turn on and drop by for more great songs from histories greatest artists! Thanks again for tuning in and see you next week!

Bye all!
