That’s right! Are you groovy guys and gals ready for the Rick’s Radio Show?

Well Here it COMES! Show number 87 has a lot of great music. I am taking you on a rhythmic trip through time with some great roots blues and rock. Starting with a great set of early blues recordings we move into some 50’s and 60’s blues rock, then on to some of the best rock of the 1960’s and 70’s. This should make this show another great trip through the history of the blues. Yes, I guarantee this show will rock your socks off, I promise you. I have tracks from Albert King, Jimmie Witherspoon, Smiley Lewis, Louisiana Red, Robert Johnson, and this week I am ending the show with the famous Paul Revere and the Raiders.

Yep I have another veritable history of the blues tracks lined up! Every track has been re-mastered by me for the Rick’s Radio show and it is all here for your enjoyment.

So let’s get started and remember,

More music, less words because the music is more important than me.

David Honeyboy Edwards – Sweet Home Chicago
Louisiana Red – Tell Me Who
Smiley Lewis – Gumbo Blues
Clarence Gatemouth Brown – Boggie Rambler
Jimmie Witherspoon – Good Rockin’ Tonight
Howlin Wolf – Mr. Highway Man
Robert Johnson – I’m Gonna Forget About You
Albert King – King of Kings
Buddy Guy – Mustang Sally
John Mayall – Racehorse Man
Guitar Shorty – Down That Road
Johnny Winter – Sweet Sixteen
Paul Revere & The Raiders –
That’s all the time I have right now and it is now time to close the show and pop this cork scene. I want to thank everyone for making this show possible and to the great artists who played the music. Remember that everything about this show including this script is up on RicksRadio.com in both English and Spanish, so get on the site. Register and comment about the shows. Let me know what you like and what you want to hear more of. I have a pretty large collection of music and you will be hearing more of it as we go along.

Tune in next week when I bring you more great and special music. I am going to go back to more of our jazz roots, blues and root rock’n roll. Yep, that means some great songs from great artists and all of them will rock your socks off.

So remember to tune in, turn on and drop by for more great songs from histories greatest artists! Thanks again for tuning in and see you next week!

Bye all!
